Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award winner in jazz. Nancy Wilson was born on the 20th of February, 1937 in Chillicothe Ohio, to Olden Wilson who worked in an ironworks, and Lillian Ryan, a former domestic worker. Nancy is the eldest of six siblings. Nancy was inspired by her father's music taste and records played in the family home. When she was four, Nancy was aware that she would like to become an artist. She began to develop her talent by singing in church choirs. When she was still in high school, she appeared regularly with Skyline Melodies. The singer began performing in nightclubs at the same age. Nancy completed high school aged 17 and enrolled in the Ohio's Central State College, now Central State University for a full year. She then dropped out to pursue a profession as a professional musician. In 1956, she recorded her debut album in Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band. The group toured with Rusty Bryant from 1956 through 1958. Nancy recorded her first album through Dot Records during the time she was with the group. Cannonball addederley recommended that she relocate in New York for her career and, in 1959, she made the move into The Big Town. After a few weeks, Adderley's manager saw her performance and decided to hire her. His agent signed her with Capitol in 1960. Her debut was that year. Guess Who Saw Today. Capitol published five Nancy Wilson records in just two years. Following the influence of Adderley, Nancy Wilson shifted to R&B into jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley joined forces in 1962 and helped push her up on the charts. The year 1963 was when she had her greatest success with Tell Me the Truth. In the following year, she was asked to perform in New York's Coconut Grove, the most prestigious nightclub in America.
Maisie is an English television as well as film actor. She was Chloe Winthrop's character in the Netflix film The Kissing Booth. In the ABC Biblical Series Of Kings and Prophets in which she played King Saul's daughter Michal. She has also appeared in numerous famous TV programs, such as The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow.
