Charissa is an American sportscaster born on May 5, 1982. ESPN analyst was recruited in 2012 as co-host of SportsNation. She was the host of the ABC show Splash alongside Joey Lawrence. She hosted the ABC series Splash with Joey Lawrence.. Thompson was born in and lived in Seattle Washington. The youngest of three children she knew she wanted to be a journalist from an early age. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School near Kenmore, Washington. Thompson went to California for community college to obtain California residency.
