Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson, an ironworker in Chillicothe on February 20, 1937. The mother of her child, Lillian Ryan worked as household helper. Nancy Wilson was only child of six. Nancy was heavily influenced by her father's musical tastes as well as the music played at her house. At just 4 an age, she realized that she was going to be a star in the singing world. The talent she developed was cultivated by her involvement in the choir at church. She won a TV-talent show at the age of 15 and started performing regularly on the tv program Skyline Melodies while still in high school. At the age of 15years old, Nancy started her career in night clubs. Nancy at the age of 17, completed high school and was enrolled at Ohio Central State College (now Central State University) for a year before quitting to pursue a career as a musician. She recorded her first record with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. They was on tour from 1956 until 1958. In the band, Nancy recorded her first album on Dot Records. Cannonball adderley advised her to move into New York in order to advance her career. The city she went to was The Big Town, New York in the year 1959. She was commissioned to sing for The Blue Morocco Night Club in The Bronx, where Adderley's agent had come across her. The singer made her debut in 1960 with one single following an agreement with Capitol Records. Guess Who? Capitol released five Nancy Wilson albums within two years. In the era of Adderley Wilson's direction, she began to focus on R&B and then shifted her focus to torch and jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in 1962 helped to bring her to the forefront and her hit Tell Me the Truth was recorded in 1963. She was offered a job in New York's Coconut Grove nightclub, America's premier club.
Maisie is a British television and film actress. She is known for playing the lead character of Chloe Winthrop in Netflix film The Kissing Booth. As King Saul Israel's daughter Michal in ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. Other than that she has TV shows comprise The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow and Group Chat With Annie & Jayden.
