Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Olden Wilson, a ironworker, as well as Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy was the oldest of six kids. Nancy was greatly influenced as a girl by the music that her father played and loved when she was at his home. Nancy knew that she was going to become a performer when she was 4 years old. She developed her talent by singing in the choir at church. She was a finalist on a talent show on TV at the age of 15 and started performing regularly on the tv series Skyline Melodies while still in high school. In the nightclubs she started working at age 15. Nancy, then 17, had graduated high school, and then matriculated in Ohio Central State College (now Central State University) for a year before quitting to sing. She recorded her first record with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956 with whom she toured from 1956 to 1958. Nancy released her first album in the band's studio with Dot Records while in the band. Cannonball adderley encouraged her to move into New York in order to increase her fame. The city she went to was The Big Town, New York in 1959. The agent of Adderley heard about her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. Within one month after arriving in New York City. A contract was formalized with Capitol Records in 1960. That year, she released her first single. Guess who I saw today. Her albums were a hit and Capitol released 5 Nancy Wilson albums in two years. In the era of Adderley Wilson's leadership, Wilson started focusing on R&B however she soon switched towards torch and jazz. Nancy Wilson's collaboration in 1962 together with Cannonball Adderley propelled her to the top and, the year 1963 saw her scoring her first hit Tell Me the Truth. In the following year, she received an invitation to perform in New York's Coconut Grove, the most prestigious night club in America.

Korr Sella was a part of a cameo on Short Wars The Force Awakens. In the following year, she was cast in the role of Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's original movies The Kissing Booth Season 2/3.
