Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award winning jazz singer. Nancy Wilson was born on 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe Ohio, to Olden Wilson who was a worker in an ironworks, and Lillian Ryan, a former domestic employee. Nancy was the youngest out of six kids. Nancy was heavily influenced by her father's musical tastes and records played in the home. At just 4 year old, she knew she would be a singer. Adderley's Agent heard her in The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract. Within one month after her arrival in New York City.
