Flanagan worked at The Keith Olbermann Evening News as an anchor reporter. Flanagan served as a sports reporter at ESPN from 2000 to the year 2006. She reported for five years from college football's on the sidelines of ESPN. She was a sideline journalist for College World Series, Women's Tennis Association's Tour Championships, the men's college football team and NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. Flanagan was a reporter for the Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC Chargers, the USC Chargers and The Dodgers Dodgers' Angels. She has also covered spring training and the NBA playoffs and college football bowls the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament as well as a week-long segment for NFL Monday Night Countdown. She hosted"The Home Depot College Football Awards," Home Depot College Football Awards, ESPN Classic Road Shows and also a segment on SportsCenter called "Hollywood Highlights".
