Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded into fame in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Nothing But a Numer. In the age group of 15 years old, the album earned Gold status. This collaboration, heavily influenced R. Kelly's musical style, made her a star. She collaborated in 1996 alongside Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which contained the number-one hit single If Your Girl Only Knew. Her birthplace was in Connecticut to a family of Indian heritage. Mann is the abbreviation of her marriage last name Mankad. Aarti is a combination of Aarti Majumdar as well as Aarti Munn as professional names. While she started out in film and TV with a few minor parts, her acting career started to gain growth in the latter half of 2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). The actress has been featured in commercials for big companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues to perform as an actress.
